Yikes, that is a tough one. As someone who was raised in a very oppressive religion that wants nothing to do with it now, I felt your frustration as I was reading this. When you pick a side of the road, stick to it! You are ultimately responsible for choosing what is best for your son before he’s able to make that choice by himself, not them.
