Thanks for the perspective Tom! It’s funny, I guess it was naive of me to just assume when people see my travel photos, they know what it took to get there as well.

This is me checking my privilege as to say “they can assume the 5 hour drive and the break downs come with the travel lifestyle.”

Then again I’m more of the adventure often, post a nice shot of the adventure once a month, a month after it happened, kind of Instagram poster. I never have had the desire to keep up with social media when I’m enjoying my travels.

It’s good to be reminded that not everyone uses travel for the same thing, but also that not everyone perceives it the same way and I could be hiding large parts of the story.
